“Stuy Nights” 1st annual Brooklyn event for the people by the people.
The first of many to come “Stuy Nights” a days event taking place in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, NY. This years event was on June 1st, and while it was put together by the people of the community it was open to all.
It’s always great to see people from their neighborhood put together events for the community. The intent is to recreate the vibes & energy from growing up in the area. It sets a great precedent for people of the community to bring a welcoming feel. A day of fun, games, Barbecue and performances.
The cypher portion was a collaboration with Blockwork Tv a well known Hip Hop platform that gives aspiring artist an audience to showcase their talent.
The event is brought to you by the Stuy Nights Inc board of directors including Tiffy Wright, Fatima Hines, Melissa Garland, Jah Taylor Aaliyah Cawley, Spencer McCurdy, Xavier Carr. The hosting duties were handled by public figure and Brooklyn Native Slopsshotya.
They came together to give the neighborhood that community feeling and create a positive environment for the residents. Something adults & Kids good enjoy alike.
