HLMmedia presents BOSSCHICKS RULE: Q&A series conducted by BossChick Raine featuring Bella Beast

Q:  How long have you been an artist? and when did you start taking your craft seriously?
A:  I’ve honestly been an artist since a teenager.  I started out writing poetry and transitioned into rap  .I’ve been active for quite some time, but I really started taking my craft seriously about 3 years ago, I’d say.
Q: Who are some of the artists or people that inspire you? Whether they are peers or otherwise?
A:  Some of the other artists that inspire me are Lauryn Hill, Young M.A. Fabolous, always was one of my very favorites and Jada, to name a few who have definitely been influential.
Q: What are your goals as an artist? How far do you want to take your craft?
A: My goals as an artists are to reach my full potential as far as creativity and to share my sound, my story, my talent, and my voice with the world… to leave behind my legacy.
Q:  How often do you record? or create? Do you rap or create daily?
A:  I create daily. At any given time of day, things come to mind and as an artist you naturally just create . I don’t go to the studio as often as id like to, but right now I’d say maybe about four times a month.
Q:  What are some obstacles you have faced on your musical journey? And do you ever feel like giving up?
A:  Some of the obstacles faced during my music career have definitely been people not always keeping up their part of an agreement and having to maintain professionalism with such individuals, can definitely be a challenge or has in the past.  As far as giving up, I don’t think it’s even an option when u want something so bad .So yes, you may get discouraged, but giving up??  Nah.
Q:  Who are some of your dream collabs?
A:  If I had the opportunity, I’d love to work with Fabolous and Jadakiss!
Q:  What message are you trying to send to the world through your music?
A:  I feel like there are many different messages that I send through my music depending on what type of mood or bop it may be, but the main thing I would like everyone to know is, no matter what you may be going through, never give up on you! Push through!
Q:  Do you have a project that you are working on?

A:  As of right now, I am just working on a lot of collaborations and singles, but I may put something together sometime in early 2024.
