Q: How long have you been an artist? And when do you feel like you started taking your craft seriously?
A: I’ve been rapping since a youngin… like since a kid I would hear a song playing and come up with my own lyrics. But I started taking my music career serious, in 2018. I dropped my first song called, “Testimony” in 2020.
Q: Who are some of the other artists or people that inspire you? Whether they are peers or otherwise?
A: Honestly speaking It was my Aunty Risse who inspired me. She’s always singing and rapping. She needs to stop playing and get in the booth. I keep telling her that!
Q: What are your goals as an artist? How far do you want to take your craft?
A: I wanna take my craft to the top. The goal is to keep striving. I need to work on promoting myself more. That’s really my goal.
Q: How often do you record? or create? Do you rap or create daily?
A: I work on my craft everyday. As soon as I open my eyes, I throw on a beat!
Q: What are some obstacles that you have faced on your musical journey? And do you ever feel like giving up?
A: Some of the obstacles I faced in my music journey, is believing in myself. Sometimes I be having brain farts and I don’t know what to talk about. So I be ready to give up, but I can’t because this is how I express myself. I got a story to tell and I know the world could relate to it.
Q: Who are some of your dream collabs?
A: Nicki, Lil Baby, Meek, Lola Brooke, Scarlip. Its a few of them… the list goes on.
Q: What message are you trying to send to the world through your music?
A: To be aware, to be alive! Gotta watch people’s movements and always stay dangerous! Yeah, you could give out love but make sure you’re getting the same in return!
Q: Do you have a project that you are working on?
A: Yes I’m always working on something! I have a song and video that’s about to drop in 2024. It’s called, “Beautiful Day”.
