The self-proclaimed "face of the rap game” and "greatest rapper in the world” is undoubtedly one of the most gifted and technically sound emcees to emerge in Hip-Hop in recent years. D'NME first burst onto the underground Toronto rap scene in the late 2000’s with his first mixtape “The Death Of Me.” Capitalizing on the emergence of the digital music market, D’NME independently released his second mixtape “Guns & Roses” which was hosted by the late DJ Whiteowl in 2012. The mixtape garnered D’NME a considerable amount of recognition online. In that same year, D’NME recorded an intro freestyle for Hip-Hop legend Sway Calloway, which was aired on Sway’s world-famous show “Sway In The Morning" on Shade45. In 2013, D’NME released music videos for his songs “Can’t Nobody Do It My Way,” and “Out In The Morning.” He also made appearances on various underground mixtapes and was featured in the Indie Grind Spotlight section of Hip Hop Weekly's magazine. A year later, D'NME began to work with Grammy Award Winning producer Omen from Harlem, New York, and Atlanta-born producer Jon Bonus. Omen and Jon Bonus assisted D'NME in taking his music to the next level sonically. In 2015, D’NME released his third mixtape titled “I Smell Blood In The Water,” which was hosted by Southern Smoke founder, DJ Smallz. Then, he followed up with his online smash “Bad AF” featuring Adam Duncan. D’NME’s 2017 EP “Number One With A Bullet” garnered a great amount of attention and respect online. The project was featured on platforms such as Thisis50.com, RespectMag.com, and Allhiphop.com. The EP displays D’NME’s rapid-fire flow as well as his masterful lyricism. In early 2019, D'NME became the first Canadian rapper to receive "Freestyle Of The Week" on DogHouse Radio in New York. His newest single "Untouchable" was released in 2020.Jazz-SpastiksBorn and raised in the Bronx, NYC, TempOpmet aka People Without Shoes is a product of his environment. With hip-hop running through his veins, his resume dates back to when he recorded his first two PWS demo tracks at the young age of 12 years old. A few years later, now in his teenage years, the 15 year old emcee came upon a chain of events, all which led to the introduction to producer Melvin Gibbs. And the hype began. People Without Shoes released his debut single “Green Shoe Laces” in 1994, on cassette and vinyl formats, receiving heavy rotation on all the hot radio stations, and praised by critics as a versatile emcee with unlimited flows, well crafted lyricism, complimented by a voice that alone would stop you dead in your tracks and keep you listening. 1995 came and the hype only grew. The demand for more music was met with 3 more well crafted singles/ ep's released on Rage Records. Still a teenager, he now had a video on BET' RapCity accompanied by an interview with Joe Clair, featured in Numerous publications such as Billboard magazine, Word Up, Rap Pages, CMJ, Ego Trip , and a few praised singles under his belt. Next up, People Without Shoes was on tour promoting the upcoming album “Thoughts of an Optimist”, an 11 track masterpiece produced in its entirety by Melvin Gibbs (named best bassist by Time Out ). Forks in the road along this journey were countered with optimism, a quality which TempOpmet values in life, and treated as life experiences to be learned from. As they say, all good things must come to an end. And tragically this was the case in 1996. One day he was signed to Rage Records with an album dropping soon, the next it was gone, for reasons out of his control. While most would have given up, TempOpmet in fact prevailed. Nowadays he is known to the world as Sadaday, emcee/C.e.o of 5420 Records & Scurry Life DVD & co-founder of industry heavyweight online magazine WorldWrapFederation and the Scurry Life DJ's movement proving that he's not just a artist but a Savvy business mogul. The name Sadaday was adopted, replacing TempOpmet, at a local dice game. Everytime he won, he would boast that “Every Day is Sadaday”. Basically, what was then intended as bragging rights, became the name he is known to the world as today. People without Shoes will always have a special place in his heart. For many years, he was unaware of the impact the album had on the hip-hop community. Key factor being that Thoughts of an Optimist meant so much to so many people, resulting in a cult following that has only grown over the years, and most importantly the world wide web keeping his music alive. Fans have even made their own YouTube videos with songs from the album, causing a media frenzy on the internet which could be the reason as to why the album is highly sought after by collectors worldwide paying hundreds of dollars for the album for the fact it never being released for retail only in limited quantities for promo Due to years of experience and a high demand for People Without Shoes we decided to relaunch 5420 Records as a small independent label that specializes in providing authentic hip hop. The industry has changed so much we miss the sound of that boom bap or that feeling after a dope verse. We are here to cater the streets introducing new music and unreleased demos as well as rare classics in limited physical formats for the digging community.RahBorn in Long Island raised in Harlem. Rah the Broker experienced both the more suburb lifestyle and the metropolitan way of life. As a young boy he took a liking to hip hop being that he had family members in the music industry and parents who were deep into hip hop culture. Do to family issues Rah would move to Harlem at the age of 10 and begin to learn the fast paced city slicker lifestyle. It was rough adapting but as they say when the going gets tough the tough get going. In the midst of learning the big Apple his love for music would evolve and become a hobby during his down time. Free styling with childhood friends and reciting other artist lyrics became more of a passion and would eventually lead to him writing his own lyrics. After 6 1/2 years he’s back doing his music passionately like he never left dropping 4 projects since 2016 which include “Chip on my Shoulder” , God Knows Best , God Knows Best 2.5 the album and the mixtape version and his upcoming effort The Flood Ep which will drop around early Spring 2018 under his own independent label titled Scholar Kammitti LLC which he and his mother/business partner started in 2016. He’s back with a vengeance throwing his own concerts and being everything an independent artist can be defying all barriers. Be on the lookout world it’s RAH THE BROKER TIME!!!!
